What is Thermographic Imaging?
Thermographic Imaging is a proactive way of finding potential problems in your electricial system.
When electricity travels through wires and circuits it generates heat. By using a special Thermographic Camera we are able to take a picture of your breaker panel.
The Thermographic Camera will show if there are hot spots that have the potential to cause a fire in your electrical system.
The pictures show a regular picture of a breaker panel and the picture below it is a thermographic picture. The yellow in the picture is where the temperature is the hottest. You can see that there is a problem with a breaker that is too hot.
By doing this Thermographic Safety Inspection we have the ability to see this problem breaker and change it before you have an electrical problem or worse a fire.
According to the National Fire Protection Agency: Every year in the United States faulty electric and lighting equipment / systems cause 45,000 structural fires. On the average these fires kill 240 people, injure 1200 people and do more than 1 billion dollars in direct property damage.
